OBR Standardization – Sept. 2020

The OBR Standardization workstream aims to provide some guidance in the way voice price-lists should be implemented (especially in regards to A-number pricing integration) in order to have a common standard approach allowing proper management of price-lists and development of solutions, both at operators and vendors levels.

The first “Price-Lists Standardization” document was produced in 2017, following the creation of a specific workstream at that time, and this document is now being enriched in order to reflect business evolution as it pertains to OBR management.

The following points have been added or updated:

  • Invalid CLI: definition, when to apply surcharged rates, impact on rating logic
  • Mandatory/optional fields for OBR rates: clarifications of impact on records management
  • Business rules: reminder of basic market rules also applicable to OBR rates
